Discover our beautiful Chalet La Maitreya, situated just outside of Vaujany, a small, authentic Alpine village with great amenities such as a swimming pool, bowling, amazing day care, an ice-skating rink and daily animations. Oz-Vaujany is part of the large ski area Alpe d’Huez. Our chalet is in the perfect location for cycling – and skiing holidays.
This 500 years old farmhouse was refurbished to a high standard, mixing its traditional features with modern details. The views from the terrace and balconies are simply breath-taking. We believe it is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday filled with activities.
Living in France, we like to create a French atmosphere in the chalet but you might find some English or Belgian influences coming from the different previous owners.
The draw of the ever-changing mountain activities makes it the perfect holiday destination throughout the year, from skiing, to hiking and cycling. Local amenities provide the opportunity for our guests to swim and ice-skate. There are a variety of different restaurants and bars in the village.
The chalet sleeps up to 19 in 8 ensuite bedrooms. There are 6 double or twin rooms, one spacious triple room and one family room.
The Resort
Perched at an altitude of 1,250 m facing the superb Massif des Grandes Rousses, Vaujany has all the charm of an authentic mountain village with superb modern facilities.

The leisure center is open all year round. Discover the swimming pool, the spa de La dare, the ice-skating rink and the bowling. The brand-new museum and cinema are definitely worth a visit too.
Play your favourite sports in the magical setting of the Centre du Collet: tennis, archery, frisbee-golf, petanque, giant garden games and team games are all available. There’s also a Ride Park and a free bike wash!
Thanks to the on-site activity leader and “Discovery Pass”, you can make the most of this natural activity park.
The Bike Park at the Centre Estival du Collet offers a variety of fun tourist activities for children and adults alike! The Pump Track is a fun circuit with raised bends and a mini ramp for performing as many tricks as you like. It is suitable for scooters, skateboards and bikes.
